ROBBE DE HERT : BIOGRAFIE / BIOGRAPHY
Robin De Hert, °1942, Farnborough, Great-Brittain.
- 1954-1958 : electrical technician (highschool studies)
- 1964-1965: assistant-cameraman for the BRT, Belgium's oldest network - formerly known as NIR, currently known as VRT.
- 1965: De Hert joins the Filmgroep '58 (from Rik Kuypers, Mortsel). Filmgroep '58 is a gathering of amateur film directors.
- 1966: founding member of Fugitive cinema v.z.w., Belgium's first independent film collective. Their main activities are
the production, the distribution and the exploitation of alternative movies.
- 1968: journalist for film magazine Spot.
- 1973 : directs his first feature film, CAMERA SUTRA.

- 1997 : Fugitive cinema v.z.w. has to call it quits after ELIXIR D'ANVERS, an expensive ensemble picture, has put them
into severe financial troubles.
- 2000 : Stukken & Brokken, Robbe De Hert's new production firm, sees the light of day.
- 2001-2009 : Robbe De Hert is forced into retirement, because he can't find the necessary funding for a new motion picture.
- 2010 : YELLOW IN YELLOW, the first new De Hert feature film since 1999's LIJMEN, enters pre-production.
